Dr. Sandmeier grew up in southern New Jersey. She later moved to the Big Island of Hawaii for several years, where she received her undergraduate degree. Dr. Sandmeier graduated from veterinary school at Washington State University in 2009. She worked in general practice in Richland, WA for 6 years, and then worked at an emergency hospital for 3 years in Wisconsin. Dr. Sandmeier missed Washington and moved back in 2018, happily joining the team at Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital at that time.

Dr. Sandmeier’s passion is providing complete care for family pets. She is known for performing a wide variety of surgical procedures. Dr. Sandmeier is also a Fear Free-certified veterinarian.

When Dr. Sandmeier isn’t treating her patients, she can be found spending time with her family and retired blind racing greyhound, Mauka. She enjoys traveling, crafting, yoga, hiking, and baking.
