Dr. Coughlin is originally from Massachusetts and is excited to be switching coasts to explore the Pacific Northwest! She received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Tufts University and later returned to Tufts for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. Following veterinary school, Dr. Coughlin completed a small animal rotating internship at Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, MA. She is looking forward to joining the fantastic team at Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital! 

Dr. Coughlin’s interests include surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and improving access to care for all patients. She is also passionate about wildlife conservation and One Health, the concept that the health of people, animals, and the environment are closely interconnected. 

Outside of work, Dr. Coughlin enjoys hiking, running, reading, traveling, and sampling local coffee shops and bakeries.
